Tourists often jump from their cars and immediately start their video cameras or take snapshots of what appears to be a movie set when the see the giant monolith. It is definitely a unique site and offers the opportunity for hiking around its one-mile path at the base of Devils Tower. Outdoor activities abound in the area as Black Hills National Forest surrounds the town. Fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, camping are among the many activities available in the area.
