- How do I get to Wyoming?
There are many ways to visit Wyoming. You can go to Traveler Services to locate the nearest airport to your destination.
- How do I get around Wyoming?
To find more information about transportation in Wyoming, you can visit the Transportation section of our Traveler Services. You can also check out the Rental Cars.
- Where do I find places to stay in Jackson? or Laramie?
If you know which city you plan to visit, simply go to Traveler Services and select your City. Each City profile page provides nearby Places to Stay, along with Things to Do and a host of additional information.
- How can I find more information about visiting Wyoming?
You can order a visitor's guide, or contact us via the web. You can also sign up for our monthly newsletter to keep up to date on all the latest in Wyoming. Signing up for the newsletter is easy, there's a link on the top of every page for E-News Signup.
- Where can I find more information about the state of Wyoming for a school project?
You can find more information about the state of Wyoming by going to Traveler Services and selecting State Information. Here you can find additional links to Wyoming State Government resources and other related information.
- Where do I find the latest news about Wyoming travel?
To find the most up to date traveler news, go to Traveler Services and select State Information. You will immediately see news and reports on weather conditions, traveler information and tips, and other news and information useful for our visitors.
- How can I order a visitor's guide?
Ordering a visitor's guide is easy. All you need to do is select Order a Guide and complete the online form. The Wyoming Travelers Journal will be sent to you right away! While you're at it, sign up to receive the Wyoming Roundup E-Newsletter and other great Wyoming information, by going to E-News Signup on the top of every page.

- What is the difference between "Image View", "Map View", and "List View"?
The new WyomingTourism.org website provides you, the user, with different ways to view the same information. Image view allows you to "see" a wide range of information all at once through real images and image galleries. Map view shows that same information geographically on easy to use interactive maps. List view provides the information in traditional lists with thumbnail images and brief descriptions. Play around with all three "Views" and see what works best for you!
- What is the "Explore" menu and how does it help me find what I want?
The Explore menu helps you effectively navigate the incredible amount of Wyoming travel and tourism information by organizing different types of information--Things to Do, Places to Stay, Itineraries, Tips and Resources, etc.--into related "packages" of information that are more useful for you, our visitors. The "Adventures" category organizes information around broad interests such as Cultural Explorations or Wild West Adventures so you can quickly focus in on your preferred interests. The "Your Profile" category allows you to select a style of travel that matches your own--go ahead and try "Action Adventurer," or gather your whole family around and check out the "Family Traveler" offerings. Select any of the "Seasonal Activities" to get your information organized around Wyoming's distinctive seasons. And if you just want to see a great mix of the best of everything Wyoming has to offer, click on "Featured" or "Must See" under "Highlights" and get ready to marvel at the real Wyoming. Explore to your heart's desire, and have fun!

About MyWyoming
- What is MyWyoming?
MyWyoming is your very own, personal section of the WyomingTourism.org website. By setting up your own MyWyoming profile, you will be able to save personalized itineraries and trip information, track information at the website that is important to you, participate in site promotions and contests, and provide your own content--tips, photos, comments and suggestions and more--that other visitors might want to use. Set up your profile now and get started!
- How do I add /edit an event?
After you've logged onto MyWyoming, you can add an event by going to "Events" in your Profile and clicking on "Add New". Fill out all your information. You will have a draft event after you save. To send your final event information to the website for approval, point your mouse to "Actions" and then click "Submit for Approval". Once an event has been approved and you need to edit it, click on the event in your profile, make your changes, save, and submit the changes to the Administrator by going to "Submit for Approval".
- How do I change my profile?
To make changes to your profile, after you've logged in, you can click on any of the text fields to make your changes. You can also check and un-check the boxes for your subscription interests. After you've made all your desired changes, click on the "Save" button.

About MyTrips
- What can I do with MyTrips?
Whether or not you have a registered MyWyoming account, you can use the MyTrips feature on the new WyomingTourism.org website. MyTrips buttons are located on every things to do, places to stay, places to dine, etc. Simply click on any of these green MyTrips buttons and add items to create an itineary of your Wyoming experience.
As you add more items, you will see your "MyTrips" information on the top of the page start filling up. Clicking on the "MyTrips()" link will show you all the items you've clicked. Use the drag icons to rearrange your selected items. To see your entire trip to make your changes and write notes, click on "Edit MyTrips". The Map feature in MyTrips gives you the ability to plan out a roadtrip from place to place. At any time, you can print or email yourself your itinerary.
- How can MyTrips help me to explore Wyoming?
Whether it's just an idea of places you'd like to visit in Wyoming or a trip with specific dates and locations, MyTrips can help you keep it all together. As you explore the WyomingTourism.org website, click on the "MyTrips" button to add items that reflect your interests. You can rearrange your selections in specific groups, see a map of your places and activities of interest, and even get directions to from one point to the other - perfect for that Wyoming roadtrip.
