The Big Horn Basin Foundation is a non profit 501(c)(3) educational organization.  Through their partnership with the Wyoming Dinosaur Center and Digsites, they offer a variety of programs for all age groups to indulge people's excitement and enthusiasm for paleontology.

Kids’ Digs offer students age 8-12 the opportunity to spend the day with real paleontologists from the Wyoming Dinosaur Center learning about the excavation and preparation of dinosaur bones.

The Dinosaur Academy is a week long intensive program aimed at getting high school juniors and seniors excited about geology and paleontology and offers college credit for students through the University of Wyoming.

The Teachers’ Workshop is an in depth, 3 day course offered for educators of all age groups.  It focuses on the geology and paleontology of the Big Horn Basin and provides teachers with fun and interesting classroom activities that span multiple disciplines.

For more information on any of these programs, to download applications and for any questions, visit them online at www.bhbfonline.org or call their offices at (307) 864-2997 ext. 223.
