Bring Your Family to Butch Cassidy Days

A full weekend of fun, historical and educational activities will entertain during Butch Cassidy Days at the Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site in Laramie, June 26-28.

 

The weekends’ festivities include a tractor parade and pull, living history exhibits, a presentation on Butch Cassidy by his great-great-nephew, medicine show, exhibits, barbecue and dinner theater.

 

Childrens events include a scavenger hunt, prison bingo and stick horse rodeo with Miss Butch Cassidy Days.

 

The dinner theater features Rattlesnake Jake on Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

 

Events begin at 12 noon lasting until 6 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

 

The prison, broom factory, homestead cabins, Boxcar house and warden’s residence will also be open.
