The Mountain Collegiate baseball league is a summer collegiate baseball league with teams in Colorado, Southern Wyoming, and Western Nebraska that had began play in June 2005. The MCBL is a wooden bat league and has been formed to offer a high quality baseball program to the Rocky Mountain area.
The Grizzlies will feature top collegiate baseball players from around the country, and, just like Minor League Baseball, provide fun and affordable family entertainment for everyone in Cheyenne and the surrounding areas from mid-June through mid-August.
The Grizzlies play 24 home games here in Cheyenne and will be some of the best, exciting, affordable baseball this area has ever seen. Can you imagine College level players hitting balls at our 6050 ft. altitude!

The Grizzlies continue with a completely new 2008 coaching staff. We look forward to getting back to the Historic Pioneer Park. with the excitement of the Colorado Rockies, more sports fans are turning to local baseball for their fix". "The Grizzlies at Pioneer Park are old school and fan friendly, my family loves the atmosphere".... , its the highest level of baseball in southern Wyoming: Wood Bat, Grassed Infield, more homers, media, food, seeds and gum.
