Category: Lodging / Accommodations
City: Ranchester

Working ranch - cowboy vacations. Week-long trip. They only do four trips a year. Cooking is done Dutch-oven style. The herd travels eight to 12 miles a day. You will be the cowboy. Every trip starts with a horsemanship clinic. There is not another cattle drive like this one anywhere. We have been trailing cattle to the Big Horn Mountains for our summer grass for 115 years. This is not nose to tail!! Some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. We move camp 3 times during the week and the one camp is only accessible afoot or horseback. There are no cabins or lodges. This is an 1880 style cattle drive. They can accommodate any level of rider. Four-day, three-night pack trip also.
