The five cabins are settled in the Dryhead Canyon just down from the bunkhouse. They are perfect for a couple or singles. We are close to the historical Buffalo Jump and Pictograph writings on the canyon walls. In your quiet time you can search for Indian artifacts and buffalo bones. Dryhead Ranch offers a real western ranch atmosphere for a cowboy vacation on an authentic western ranch. Iris and Jennifer invite you to bring your family and friends and join them for a week. Quiet, peaceful and memorable.
A Working ranch vacation. We offer our guests a cowboy experience that will change their life. Just like in the movies we take our guests with us as we gather and work cattle. There are just a few authentic working guest ranches and we are eager to share our beautiful grassland country and great horses. We have well trained cow horses that will match and challenge any riding level. We have cattle drives in the spring and the fall that are some of our most popular weeks. We trail cows 50 miles between their winter and summer pastures. To perk up any horse lover’s sense of adventure we also offer challenging horse drives. Each spring and fall they bring mares and colts from summer to winter pastures. These horse drives are one of just a few offered in the USA. Their cowboys will take time to teach you riding skills and roping skills that are popular among cowboys who work for a living. Come ride with our cowboys, it will thrill your life.
