Meeteetse Museums' Mission is to promote discovery,learning, and an appreciation of Meeteetse's natural, cultural and artistic heritage.

The vision of the Museum is to document and present the story of Meeteetse. As an insitution we aspire to collect, preserve and interpret the artifacts of the artistic, cultural and natural history of Meeteetse and its geographical surroundings for the purpose of educating our visitors and the community.
Our permanent collections include: The Wild Sheep of North America, The Meeteetse Mercantile, The Black Footed Ferret, Little Wahb the grizzly bear, and the Charles Belden Photography Collection.

We feature 3 annual tours:
Petroglyphs site with archaeologist, Dr. Larry Todd, June 18th, 2011
The ghost town of Kirwin, August 13th, 2011
The ghost town of Arland and the "Woman in Blue", October 1st, 2011
