The Passage Resort, your Gateway to the Big Horn Mountains, located on Hwy 14 between The Black Hills and Yellowstone National Park. Our location at Burgess Junction offers travelers a respite for the heat of summer with temperatures on average 20 degrees cooler than the plains 4,000 feet below.

Our Hotel, completed in June of 2008, offers 48 very comfortable rooms with views of the mountains and pine forests. Our rooms include King ADA suites with roll in showers and double queen rooms that include a TV and a coffee pot. Enjoy our heated indoor pool and hot tub, game room with air hockey, pool, foosball and card tables. We have board games for evening entertainment for the whole family. Our Hotel includes 3 conference rooms for groups of 20 to 100.

The Passage Restaurant is located in our rustic log lodge serving family style meals and is open from 7 am to 9 pm seven days a week.  Also located in the lodge is the Passage Bar and the gift shop.

Get out on the mountain on one of our ATVs or snowmobiles and experience the awesome Big Horn Mountains. The Passage Resort is surrounded by wonderous nature and a rich history along with countless other fun activities such as, photography, horseback riding, hiking, biking, rock climbing, fishing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing just to name a few.  Experience the real Jurassic park on the western slope with Dinosaur digs & Track sites. Explore the area for invertebrate fossils to take home.
