The Downtown Sheridan District was recently selected into the 'Great Places in America: Great Neighborhoods'!

Sheridan, with over 30 buildings in the National Historic District, was chosen into their Top 10 because of its historic downtown and immediately surrounding residential area, which reflect a mixture of influences, trends and developments – from Sheridan's frontier period to Main Street buildings constructed in the 1980's.

During the ceremony, the Governor praised the community for their efforts in building an attractive town that he is proud of and continues to support in its revitalization and reconstruction efforts.

Sheridan, Wyoming was voted the original #1 Western Town in America and #3 Town for Outdoorsmen!  Picturesque. Historic. Vibrant. It’s where Old West meets New West – a pocket of world-class culture wrapped up in hometown hospitality and authentic real West charm.

Don't Miss: The Sheridan Inn is a National Historic Landmark where Buffalo Bill and Will Rogers stayed while in Sheridan http://www.sheridaninn.com
