Fifty miles of trails are groomed and 60 miles ungroomed for a total of 110 miles of excellent riding opportunities in the Sierra Madres. Facilities and services are available in Encampment. Snow depths range from 2 feet to 8 feet. There several permit selling agents in this area for your convenience.

Elevations: 7,000 feet to 10,000 feet
Season: November through April
Season Temperatures: +30 F to -30 F

This trail system is maintained through cooperative efforts of the Wyoming Department of State Parks & Cultural Resources/Division of State Parks & Historic Sites, the U.S. Forest Service and the local snowmobile club.
