Torrington is where Wyoming began with the Oregon, Mormon and Texas Cattle trails all converging on the North Platte River. Here pioneers found the historic Bordeaux and other trading posts as they traveled westward. The Homesteader's Museum provides a glimpse back into 1880 life.
