Upton is a small Wyoming town in Weston County. Its location is Northeastern Wyoming and is about half way between Newcastle and Gillette. The town itself was actually named after George Upton who in his time was a railroad surveyor. The population of Upton is just over 900 people and the majority of the population is a miner around the area.
