City: Yellowstone National Park

The northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park is located on Montana Highway 212, 70 miles west of Red Lodge Montana over scenic Beartooth Highway. It is also 85 miles northwest of Cody over the scenic Chief Joseph Highway, Highway 296. During the summer months this is a dramatic entry into Yellowstone. During the winter months (Nov. - May) these passes are closed east of Cooke City, Montana. The only winter access is through Yellowstone North Entrance at Gardiner, Montana.
