The Bubble Zone
The Platypus at The Robot Zoo

The Science Zone is the only public science center in the State of Wyoming. The museum currently has 11,000 square feet of floor space to include seven different exhibit areas for exploration. The main exhibit gallery rotates and hosts a new exhibit three times a year. TreeHouses was on exhibit for the latter part of 2009, and has been followed by Turtle Travels which opened May 2010. Permanent exhibits include the Zone Zoo, a living exhibit, home to reptiles, amphibians and arachnids. The ever-popular Bubble Zone offers a giant bubble table and bubble wall where the properties of viscosity can be discovered. Another permanent exhibit is Nature's Jewels which is currently under construction and will open in June. This exhibit brings gems and minerals into full focus.
