Fall into Wyoming

Saying goodbye is always hard.
But if you visit Wyoming in the fall, saying goodbye to summer is a piece of cake. That’s because there are so many things that make fall an amazing times to visit. The weather is perfect for a family road trip. The crowds are starting to die down and the Wyoming wildlife is coming out to play. Giving you the perfect opportunity to take a picture of a moose without someone’s ponytail getting in the way.

Save some room on your camera for pictures of the fall foliage. There are forests that turn colors you haven’t seen since the time you left your crayons on the heater. We recommend you take a drive through Aspen Alley to see the beautiful shades of yellow, orange and red. Check out our fall road trips for other ideas of where the you can catch those fall colors.

The animals aren't the only ones out to play. Meet other visitors to the state and hear from the locals during Wyoming's fall festivals. We have championship barbecues, a celebration of the undead at Zombiefest, and everything between. We're positive you'll find something that's right up your alley.
